The Miss Pima County Scholarship Pageant Committee works to provide Miss Pima County with opportunities that enable her to appear on behalf of prominent civic and charitable causes around the county and to make her year one of service and outreach.

Through the appearances made during her year of service, Miss Pima County will entertain, inspire and touch the hearts of many people in the greater Tucson area.

Miss Pima County 2009, Tanya Valladares is an ambassador for both Higher Education and the Children’s Miracle Network.  Versatility is synonymous with the title.  Whether it is speaking to business groups, entertaining for special events, inspiring young people to achieve their dreams, or signing autographs, Miss Pima County is always prepared to fit the needs of her clients, she is the perfect guest for virtually any event.
