2011 Eligibility Requirements:

1. Be an American Citizen.

2. Be age 17 by pageant date and not turn 25 before December 31, 2011.

3. Be at least 17 years old and entering your senior year in high school in the fall of 2010.

4. Be single, never married, never pregnant, nor have any children.

5. Live, work full-time, or attend school in Arizona.

6. Satisfy the minimum $100 donation to the Children's Miracle Network.

What Is Expected of You?

Though the Miss Pima County Competition is open to all eligible young women in Arizona, we have certain expectations of our contestants:

1. Attend the Kiwanis Club Spaghetti Dinner held prior to the annual competition in Green Valley, Arizona.

2. Attend the pageant rehearsal to be held on Saturday, October 30, 2010 from 4:00-9:00pm.

3. If you win the title of Miss Pima County, your primary responsibility will be to prepare for the Miss Arizona Pageant in June; however, there will be a handful of appearances we will expect you to make in Pima County.  Details of these appearances can be found in your contestant packet (which you will receive at the contestant meeting).

How To Apply and Complete:

1. Register here in order to raise the required Children's Miracle Network donation. Please select crowning year "2012" when registering.

2. Download, complete, and return the contestant application.

3. If you have never before competed in an Miss America Organization local pageant, please make plans to attend our contestant orientation meeting on October 8th at 6:00pm.

3. Complete and submit all necessary paperwork including notarized contract, resume, platform statement, and photo by the deadlines.

4. Attend the rehearsal and the Kiwanis fundraising activity.  Please dress appropriately and be on time to all events.
